Fort Lauderdale Hurricane Relief

Hurricane is Over!

First, we here at Lauderdale BMW of Ft. Lauderdale hope that each one of you stayed safe during the storm as it came through. With efforts to start cleaning up the city underway, we are eager to get back to business as usual.

Cleaning Up

The city is full of debris and A1A was covered in sand, as of Monday September, 11 there were six front loaders working on clearing the path, city officials still say it will take a full week to remove all the wet sand. Other roadways are plagued with debris from trees, powerlines, and traffic lights, so if you are going to be driving a lot in the city be mindful of the road conditions and treat down traffic light intersections as four-way stops.

Fuel

According to the petroleum companies with tanks in Port Everglades, they have a four-day supply of gas reserves on hand. Although, as of Monday, Port Everglades is still without power and remained closed.

Car Damage

While we cannot offer support of getting gas in your tanks or debris off the roadways, we do have vehicle service center with the only Certified Collision Repair Center in Broward County and a staff of trained mechanics. If your BMW sustained any damage during the storm bring it by Lauderdale BMW of Ft. Lauderdale for an inspection.
